The service isn't a medical procedure; but if you have skin sensitivity, allergies, pregnancy or health conditions, it's important to mention them in advance. Following aftercare during healing directly affects the result's quality. For brows only, microblading can also be considered.
Unlike microblading, permanent make-up deposits pigment into the skin with a machine (a fine-needle device); besides brows it can also be applied to lips (lip tint) and eyes (eyeliner) — microblading is a brow-only technique. Healing varies by area: 7-10 days for brows, 5-7 days for lips (mild swelling in the first 48 hours is normal), 5-7 days for eyeliner. Longevity averages 1-2 years; skin type (fades faster on oily skin), sun exposure and care affect this. The service isn't recommended for bleeding disorders, uncontrolled diabetes, an active skin infection or pregnancy/breastfeeding — a doctor's approval is needed first in these cases. We recommend a patch test beforehand for guests with an allergy history; for lip tinting, if you have a history of cold sores (herpes), a preventive measure is discussed.
